About the Murrieta Community
The city of Murrieta is one of the youngest, fastest-growing and safest communities in California. In addition, Murrieta is also home to the Rancho Springs Medical Center, a highly regarded hospital that specializes in neonatal care and women's health. Murrieta is split by interstates 15 and 215. Some of the major streets include Winchester Road (SR 79 North), Clinton Keith Road, Murrieta Hot Springs Road, Jefferson Avenue, California Oaks Road and Washington Avenue. It is located about 80 miles southeast of Los Angeles, 65 miles north of San Diego and just a little over an hour's drive to Disneyland in Anaheim. In addition, the Ontario Airport is located approximately 50 miles north of Murrieta. The Riverside Transit Agency serves the community with multiple bus routes, and RTA's commuter lines to both the Metrolink Stations in Corona to the north and Oceanside to the south.
